Perigueux Classic Auto event 15 & 16 February 2019

"the swinging sixties, sixty years on!"

In February 2020, we’ll be 60 years on from 1960.

VaaP, who organise this annual event, chose the cars & motorcycles and anything related to the swinging sixties as a theme for the Perigueux Classic Auto of 2020 staged on the Perigueux exhibition/fairground.

As in previous years, ‘British-cars and participants’ have been allocated a substantial area in one of the covered halls and we are looking forward to hosting around 10 british cars/motorcycles with their owners in appropriate gear.

Selected classic-cars and motorcycles, clubs and auto related booths are presented in static displays in two large exhibition halls, while visitors’ classics can enter the grounds and park up for free during opening hours.

Specialists with expertise in car restoration, supply of parts, remakes, tools, classic-registration or insurance etc from far afield converge annually on this Perigueux show to present their services in the halls alongside single and multi-marque club-stands, so there is plenty of variety.

Outside, you can browse through myriad autojumble stalls spread along the roadways and grass areas of the fairground selling car parts and automobile literature and see hundreds of visitors’ cars as they come and go.

For the hungry, sit-down meals are catered for in a dining hall as well as other small stands serving snacks around the grounds.

Exhibiting a classic-car is free, the commercial stands inside and outside are paying.

The fairground charges entry for the general public; tickets are purchased at the main gate ticket office.

VaaP association is a not-for-profit organisation, funded only by the professional stall and advertising fees.

Trailers for exhibition-cars can safely be parked inside the grounds.

There is permanent professional security in the grounds and at the gates all day and overnight along the fencing.

The show attracts 9 000 to 11 000 vistors each year and receives quite some attention from classic-motoring, local and even national press.

VaaP look forward to greeting you at this swinging sixties event on Saturday 15th & Sunday16th February 2020.
